Poor Geometrical Precision in July 2011 Crop Circle

Sometimes, one can judge the design of crop circle whether it was made by a hoaxer or we need to do further examination to prove that it really an intelligent product from intelligent culture by doing some geometric examination. Simply to say, that by looking at something "unusual" at the design we can justify it was made by hoaxer or not. 

The overall design would have an unusual looks because of poor geometrical precision in some elements of the design. Now, let's take a look at two latest crop circles which can be classified as Unclassified Crop Circle. Before we start, here is the picture of these Crop Circle.

Inspiring Crop Circles - Traveling Through Space

If it possible to travel hundreds of million light of years, there some things that we had to prepare:

1. Long life food for the traveller
2. Huge energy source to move the vehicle.

If the all traveler die during the travel, so what is the purpose of that travel anyway, So, to cut the time in traveling and for the comfort of passenger, should there be a special equipment to meet these requirement. Maybe this is the answer ...

Fibbonacci Spiral

There many kind of spiral, such as archemedean spiral, bernoulli spiral, fibbonacci spiral etc. Drawing the spiral is a lot more difficult than circle drawing. Without special tools, theoretically only fibbonacci spiral can be created on the crop field such as in above picture.

To construct the fibbonacci spiral the step is as follows.

• Draw two  squares on top of each other. 
• At the corner of  one square, put the pivot position to draw a quarter circles inside the squares. Your work should look like this

The next element of crop circle we need to know is the polygon. The most appearance of polygon used in early artists CC designs are equilateral triangle, square, the pentagon, five-pointed star (pentagram), the hexagon, six-pointed star (hexagram) and others.

In order to construct  an equilateral triangle, you need to draw 4 same diameter auxiliary  circles. And each circle has 2 constraint, i.e : center circle position (point1, 2, 3a and 3b) and the diameter. the step in constructing the triangle (this is the algorithm to draw perfect equilateral triangle):

After deciding the message that you want to deliver, the next step is to design or construct the drawing that bundling the message. 

Before i continue, i want to talk about something called nodal constraint.

hmmm. Its a curious word, really.

Nodal constraint is refer to the interdependency of the position of one node to the overall design. Changing coordinate of this nodal constraint  will affect the overall design..

By this, I mean that if your crop design is using for example 10 non concentric circles, you must first has to mark precisely the position at the field where are the center of those 10 circles before you begin your work. One mistake in placing the center pivot of each circle will result in a highly ridiculous crop circle ever.

Ok, lets continue again.

As we all know that crop circle formation is basically composed of circle or arc either as the main object (something you must draw) or auxilliary object (you must draw it in order to create another object or a segment line). As an auxilliary  object, the circle can be used to draw equilateral triangle, square, pentagon, star, hexagon and all kind of polygon.

To draw a cirle there are two thing that has to be fulfilled: the position of the center circle and the diameter of the circle (2 constraints with one nodal constraint, i.e : center pos), meanwhile to draw an arc beside center pos and dia, you must define the position of where its start and end (4 constraints with 3 nodal constraints, i.e: pos of center, start point and end point).

In part one, i had mention the state of the art of  the fact in crop circle design. So, what we need to do is to think about how to create those crop circles.
There are 4 things that we must define before we go to the field.

1. Define what message you want to deliver to the spectators/admirers through your crop circle drawing
2. Designing the picture of the drawing 
3. Preparing tools/equipments you will use to built your creation on the crop field
4. Find a crop field you might ruin with your creation.

Step 1. Defining the message:


There are no rules about what message you can deliver, but these are some example of message you can deliver through you crop circle design:


A. Mathematical/Scientific Formula. 
This is to declare that you are not dull in mathematics/science. The more complex and delicate mathematical/scientific formula you show, the more admire the spectator to you creation. Some matemathical/scientific formula that has been delivered from early artists are as follows:

• Euler’s Identity (e ^ ( i * Pi ) + 1 = 0). This formula appeared in binary code drawing at The Wilton Windmill crop circle which appeared on Friday 21st May, 2010

Of Course, some of you wondering, why i put the category of crop circle to the art of modern earth. Well, for me, this simply to distinguish it from ancient art. I can say this, because i believe that the artists of the crop circle, would have a very difficult effort  to find crop field to be crafted into crop circle, and beside...the artist would have a very difficult way to introduce his arts to the spectators because there were no flying mean of transportation at the time to make the spectators and admirers to see the art from above...

This time, we will explore some arts from ancient earth inhabitant. I say inhabitant because there still no convincing argumentation about who is the artist, is human or alien. It is also still no convincing evidence about when these drawings had been made, by who, how and for what. Some articles says that it is about 2 millenium ago or more. 

The art creation of the Nazca can be categorized as drawing art. By using the earth surface as drawing media, the artist then drew this media by  removing the ubiquitous reddish pebbles and uncovering the whitish ground beneath. But whoever the artist is, i mention 3 annotation about the artist work.

How Life on Mars End

While we are still arguing about  living evidences in Mars, comes the theory about how life on Mars End. It is so interesting that the theory not coming from astronomist or biologist, but it comes from Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.

Chavez stated in speech to mark World Water Day

"I have always said, heard, that it would not be strange that there had been civilisation on Mars, but maybe capitalism arrived there, imperialism arrived and finished off the planet".

In other words, he hypotized that the capitalism and imperialism made the civilisation end.

He also had a theory about how Mars lost its arable land and water. About this theory, he made the induction from how earth lost its river and forest by capitalism.
